Day 1, arrive in Bishkek

Arrival in Bishkek. Rest in a hotel. City tour around the centre in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel. Accommodation in the hotel "Bridges" or similar

Day 2, Talas

Transfer to Talas (around 300 km, 6-7 hours). Your way will go over high Too-Ashuu Pass. Visiting ethnic complex Manas Ordo. Family run accommodation in Talas. Main highlights for this day: Talas is mother land of the famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aitmatov. He written stories: My little puppet in red scarf, Jamilya, White Ship, First Teacher and others translated in English and German. The guide will explain about these books. Talas is also historical place for epic hero Manas. Stories about his legendary trips written in the biggest epic in the world. It is counted more them 5 million lines in the epic

Day 3, Urmaral Gorge

Transfer to the start point of trek (1hour). Riding along a beautiful river towards the Urmaral Gorge. When you enter the gorge, the surroundings change and the gorge is covered with fir trees and becomes more and more narrow. Overnight in tents. Riding time during the day about 5-6 hours (depend on the fitness condition of the group) Distance is about 13 km

Day 4,Chiim-Tash Pass

Riding to the footstep of Chiim-Tash Pass. On this day, you will need to prepare the sandals to cross the river. You will have to cross the river for 4 times. The night will be on altitude 3100m before the pass between two mountain lakes at the place named Kosh Kol. Overnight at tent camp

Day 5, Continue to Kara Kulja pass

Riding over the Chiim-Tash Pass. The pass is quite steep and stony. The other side of the Talas Range is famous for its great summer pastures for shepherds. Enroute it is possible to watch griffins, marmots and other examples of wildlife. Overnight in the tent camp at the footstep of Kara Kulja pass

Day 6, Continue to Kashka Suu pass

Interesting day over the Kara-Kuldzga Pass (3160 m). At the very top of the pass, there are the graves of 7 ancient traders from the South who froze to death in winter. Riding down to the river. The area is reach of wild raspberry that is attract the brown bear to the area. Cross the river and lunch. After lunch, riding up of the valley Kashka Suu to the footstep of Kashka Suu pass. Overnight in tents

Day 7, Continue river Kara suu

Quite a tough day as the ascent of the Kashka-Suu Pass is a bit challenging. Descent from the pass is a bit long but afterwards, riding along the gorge, looking at the fabulous scenery and meeting gold prospectors, local shepherds and beekeepers. Visit of the shepherd or beekeeper summerhouse. Overnight at the bottom of the valley by the river Kara suu

Day 8, Continue to Iri-Kol Lake

Riding down the valley till Kara-Kamysh Lake. The beautiful Kara-Kamysh Mountain Lake is really a wonder among the mountains. Cross the lake and move up to the pass Kortormo 2447m. We enter Sary-Chelek National Reserve. The stunning panorama of the reserve and the lakes is amazing. Descent to the Iri-Kol Lake. Overnight by the lakeshore in tents

Day 9, Iri-Kol Lake area

Full day at the same tent camp. Radial ride. The whole day is spent wandering around 6 of the 7 lakes. Trees, wild animals around can be seen and watched. Tent camp overnight on the shore of Iri-Kol Lake. Reach after several days of riding through chain of mountains lakes in Sary-Chelek, which local people called forest"s diamonds of Tien-Shan Mountains

Day 10, Continue to Karasuu village

Ride with splendid views of snow-capped mountains, through Sary-Chelek orchards and forests cross the small pass to Karasuu village. Here you can get to know the local lifestyle and habits and visit handicraft shops with your final short picnic lunch during the day. Family run accommodation

Day 11, Continue to Arslanbob village

Transfer to Arslanbob village (280 km, about 5 hours of driving). Dinner and overnight in family run accommodation. Main highlight: Arslabob is the biggest natural walnut forests in the world. According legends it takes origin from warrior of Alexander the Great

Day 12, Kazarman town

Transfer to Kazarman town (280 km, 6-7 hours of driving). Road goes over beautiful Kaldama Pass. After the Jalal Abad village the road is gravel all the way to Kazarman. It wil be long driving day. Picnic for lunch. Accommodation and dinner in the family guesthouse in Kazarman

Day 13, Son-Kul

Transfer to Son-Kul (280km, 5-6 hours). It is the highest lake in Kyrgyzstan, which located at the altitude of 3030 m above sea level. It is an unsalted lake with different kinds of fishes, surrounded by the Great mountains. Rest. Dinner and accommodation in yurta camp

Day 14, Bishkek

After breakfast transfer to Bishkek (350 km, 6-7 hours). Stop in Kochkor for lunch and visit felt carpet shop. Accommodation in the hotel “Bridges” or similar. Farewell dinner

Day 15, Airport

Transfer to the airport. End of the tour in Kyrgyzstan. Next destination flight

Level of difficulty: This tour is recommended for people with horse riding experience (riding time approximately 4-7 hours per day in the mountain terrain)
