Experience of horse riding and arrow shooting. Travel the Tien Shan and Issyk Kul Lake

Day 1, Bishkek Ala Archa Bishkek

Your guide will pick you up at Manas International Airport and accompany you to the capital city of Kyrgyzstan, just a 30-minute drive from the airport. The first half of the day is dedicated to a guided tour of Bishkek. It includes visiting Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic, and many others places of interest. In the afternoon we will visit Ala Archa gorge. It is a Natural Park. At the Soviet Time only VIP people had permission to go for a walk here. The Ala Archa gorge is on a spur of the Tien Shan Mountain range. It is just 45 km from Bishkek. You can have a short hiking tour to see a panoramic view of the gorge. Afterwards we return to Bishkek. A traditional dinner will be organized at 7 p.m. Overnight at hotel

Day 2, Bishkek Burana Chon Kemin, + horse riding

Today you will be transferred to Chon Kemin gorge. On route to the gorge, you will visit Burana Tower (the 11th century minaret) and an open-air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). After an interesting excursion and climbing on the top of the tower is transfer to Chon Kemin gorge. Here you will meet a nice family that will prepare a traditional lunch for you. In the afternoon we will have 3 hours of horse riding. Your route will go high in the mountains and you will even ride horses through a mountain forest. On the top you will see the panorama view of the gorge. The night and dinner will be in a guest house

Day 3, Chon Kemin Son Kul

In the morning we start our drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan – Son Kul. This lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3 013 meters above sea level. Since ancient times Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. All nomads are very hospitable. They will always invite you inside their yurts to drink tea with them. They are not used to seeing many tourists and are always happy to speak with you. Hospitality is one of the main laws among nomads. The used to say: Guest is sent by God. Your dinner and night will be in nomadic felt dwellings yurts near the lake. It's a real nomadic place

Day 4, Son Kul 33 parrots Pass Naryn, + horse riding

In the morning you will ride along the lake on a horse. Then you will drive along high mountains to the town of Naryn. It is situated right in the gorge. The high mountains, picturesque passes, and nomadic way of life make Kyrgyzstan an irresistible travel destination. Views of this mountain road are absolutely breathtaking. On the way you will drive through 33 parrots pass (3 133 m). This day offers a great chance to experience the variety of mountains which make Kyrgyzstan so popular. On the route it will be possible to meet real nomadic families. Night will be in a hotel

Day 5, Naryn Kel Suu

Today you will go to one of the most beautiful, alpine and rarely visited lakes. The lake is located in the Naryn region, on the border with China. It is located in the upper reaches of the Kurumduk River, the left tributary of the Kok-Kiya at an altitude of 3,514 m. The lake is remarkable for its stunning views - the water in it is bright blue and contrasts very beautifully with the surrounding rocks. This is one of the most beautiful and at the same time inaccessible places in Kyrgyzstan. The lake was formed thousands of years ago due to the destruction of the mountain range. Consequently, it has an elongated shape: 9 km long, 0.5–2 km wide. On all sides, Kel Suu is surrounded by steep cliffs with many caves, depressions and grottoes; there are also small stone islands in the lake itself. You will spend the night of this day in a yurt camp, which is located about 8 km from the lake. Overnight at the yurt camp

Day 6, Kel Suu

Today you will have a horse ride to the lake Kel Suu. The lake is located on the hard-to-reach Kokshaal-Too ridge, and the way there lies through the vast Ak-Sai valley and is replete with swampy places and fords. The lake has one unusual feature, in honor of which such a name was given to it. Kel-Suu is translated from Kyrgyz as "incoming water". Indeed, sometimes the lake disappears, flowing into underground caves and grottoes, and therefore before going there you need to know that the lake may not be found. Overnight at the yurt camp

Day 7, Kel Suu Kochkor

In the morning you will be transferred to Kochkor village. The road will go along amazing gorge and you will drive today over mountain pass that is 3000 meters high. In Kochkor village you will spend some time with a family that will show you the way our national felt carpets are produced. Also, you will visit a small handicraft museum there. Arrival to Kochkor village. Night will be at the homestay

Day 8, Kochkor Bokonbaevo Jeti Oguz Karakol

In the morning you will enjoy Arrow shooting by horse. Then you will be transferred to the celestial Issyk Kul Lake, the second largest alpine lake in the world. The lake is called "the pearl of Central Asia". For more than 1 500 years local people considered the lake to be a sacred one. You can come up to the lake and to see mountains all around it. We will have a break in Bokonbaeva village, where we will visit a local eagle-hunter. He hunts hares and foxes with the help of eagles (traditional way of nomads hunting). Then is transfer to famous gorge of Jeti Oguz, Red Rocks. Also, you will see there the Broken Heart Mountain. Then we continue our way to Karakol town. Night is in a hotel

Day 9, Karakol Issyk Kul northern shore Bishkek

In Karakol we will visit the Dungan Mosque. It was built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Then you will be transferred to Bishkek city. This time we will drive along the northern shore of Issyk Kul Lake. This is a great chance to see the whole lake from all sights. We will make a short break to give you the opportunity to visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.). These petroglyphs were made more than 2 000 years ago by shamans. You can see a panorama view of the Issyk Kul Lake from this place – people were thinking that it was the middle of the world. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. Night is in a hotel

Day 10, Bishkek Airport

In the morning is transfer to airport
