Day 1, arrive in Ashgabat

Meet at the airport. Transfer to the town. Start sightseeing: the Independence Park, Alem Ferris Wheel, Serdar Yoly Health Route Site, Parthian Fortress of Nisa. Check in hotel. Time at leisure. After sunset, night tour in Ashgabat, see the town in lights and have panoramic photos. Overnight at hotel

Day 2, Ashgabat- GeokDepe – KovAta – Nohur, 165km, Good Roads, Mountain Tracks

Start west, visit the Turkmenbashy mosque 15km, GeokDepe new town 50km, Akhalteke horse farm, KovAta cave lake 100km, finally drive off the highway into Kopetdag mountains. Arrive at Nohur mountain valley. Stay at the village

Day 3, Nohur – Balkanabat, 305km, Mountain Tracks, Asphalt Road, Highway

Sightseeing in the village and in Nohur valley. Leave the mountains and drive to Balkanabat. Stop at Parau Bibi mausoleum on the rock. Arrive in Balkanabat. Check in hotel. Visit the Mollakara Salt Water Beach. Overnight at hotel

Day 4, Balkanabat – Dehistan – Balkanabat, Old Asphalt Roads, Sand Tracks

Drive through the oil production area, along the southwestern part of the Caspian Sea. Enter into Messerian plain and arrive at the ruins of Meshed-Dehistan town – Ancient Silk Road stop from Persia to Khiva. Sightseeing: the remains of minarets, cathedral mosque, madrassah of Dehistan, mausoleum-mosque of Shir Kebir, Meshed mausoleums. Return on the road and drive back to Balkanabat. Overnight in hotel

Day 5, Balkanabat – YangyKala – Turkmenbashy, 350km, Old Bumpy Roads, Sand Tracks

Drive to the desert area of the GaraBogazGol bay western fan. Where the ancient floor of the Tethys Sea left the spectacular view of its relief in the form of multicolor canyon. Arrive at the site, sightseeing it from different points. Stay for pleasure. Return on the road and arrive to Turkmenbashy in the late afternoon. Stay at one of the Avaza Caspian Sea Resort hotel. Free program. Overnight at hotel

Day 6, Turkmenbashy – Ashgabat, Flight 1hr

Stay at Caspian Sea resort. At 12:00 check out. Short sightseeing in Turkmenbashy (Krasnovodsk) town. Afternoon flight to Ashgabat. Transfer to hotel. Free program in town. Overnight

Day 7, Ashgabat – Mary, 350km, Highway

Drive with visits along the route. Visit the Anau fortress and Seyitjemalatdin mosque XV c. remains. Next stop is 120 km, at Abiverd Silk Road town remains. Visit the Abiverd fortress. The 60 km before Mary, stop Hanhovuz teahouse for the fish dish lunch (fish from the local lake). Arrive in Mary. Check in at hotel. Overnight

Day 8, Mary – GonurDepe – Mary, 100+100km, Old Asphalt Roads, Sand Tracks

Visit Mary museum. Drive through the villages of the Mary region, the cotton and wheat fields. Then enter in the Karakum desert. Arrive at GonurDepe (Brown Hill) archeological site. Bronze Age Town of Margiana country. Sightseeing at the site: the excavations of the Palace, Temples, Necropolis. On the way back, sightseeing of Parthian- Sasanian Goebekly Fortress, Nestorian church, and Watch Tower remains. Overnight at hotel

Day 9, Merv Area, 80km, Asphalt Roads

Drive to Merv. Sightseeing of Ancient Merv History Park. One of the largest trade, scientific and cultural center of the great historic region of Khorasan. Sightseeing the Alexandria in Margiana, Antiochia in Margiana, Sultan Kala… The World Heritage Site since 1999. Drive to Talkhatan Baba mausoleum XI – XII centuries Seljuk Architecture and the Ahun baba madrasah XIX c. Return in Mary. Overnigh

Day 10, Mary – Ashgabat, Flight/ Ashgabat- Darvaza, 350km, Highway, Asphalt Road, Sand Track

A.M Flight to Ashgabat

P.M Drive to the Central Karakum desert. Stop for photos along the route. Start to visit the gas craters. Arrive at Fiery Gas Crater. Camp at the place. Sightseeing the gas crater before and after the sunset. Overnight in tent

Day 11, Darvaza – Dashoguz, 310km, Asphalt Roads, Sand Tracks

Drive to Dashoguz. Visit on the route: Shasenem fortress, Izmukshir fortress (ancient Silk Road stop between Merv and Khiva) and the Ismamut Ata mausoleum. Stay at hotel. Overnight

Day 12, Dashoguz – KunyaUrgench – Dashoguz, 96+96km, Asphalt Roads / Flight Ashgabat

Drive to KunyaUrgench. Sightseeing the ancient capital of KhoresmShakh State XI-XII centuries, of Gurganj. KunyaUrgench History Park - World Heritage Site since 2005. Return in Dashoguz. Flight to Ashgabat. Check in hotel. Overnight

Tip! if you plan to continue your itinerary in Uzbekistan, stay in Dashoguz this night, remove 80USD per person from your tour price and Day 13 enter in Uzbekistan via Shavat border

Day 13, Ashgabat

Free program for visiting the bazaars, museums of your interest or restaurant of your choice. Transport not included but it can be complimentary if you need it.
