Meet at airport (Meeting at other borders can be arranged as separate arrangements). 09:00 Start sightseeing in Ashgabat: the Independence park and its monuments, the monument of Constitution, the Neutrality Tower, Alem Ferris Wheel, Lenin Park, Ertogrul Ghazi mosque, bookshops. Visit Independence Day concert as per availability. Overnight at hotel

Sep 27, Ashgabat, Highway Good Roads, 105km

Sightseeing in the Old Nisa Fortress 15km, the Turkmenbashy mosque in Kipchak, 15km. Visit the Anau Fortress and Seyitjemalatdin mosque remains, 12km. Overnight at hotel

Sep 28, Ashgabat- Darvaza, Highway, Asphalt Road, Sand Tracks, 257km

Visit the Akhalteke Horse Races (subject of availability/ the final races of the season and the end of Independence Day Festivities), 45km/ Very early in the morning.

P.M. Start drive to Darvaza, the Karakum desert. Stop for photos along the route. Arrive at Darvaza area, start to visit the gas craters. Leave the road and come to the fiery gas crater. Camping in the area. See the gas crater. Overnight in tent

Sep 29, Darvaza – Ashgabat, Sand Tracks, Asphalt Road, Highway, 257km

Return on the road and drive back to Ashgabat.

Drive to KovAta cave. See the cave and swim in the underground lake. Follow the route and arrive at Nohur valley in the Kopetdag mountains. Sightseeing in the village. Dinner and overnight at local home or camping

Sep 30, Nohur – Turkmenbashy, Highway, Asphalt Roads, 435km

Return on the road and drive to the Caspian Sea. Stop on the route for lunch. Arrive in Turkmenbashy. Check in hotel. Time at leisure. Overnight

Oct 01, Turkmenbashy - YangyKala canyon – Turkmenbashy, Asphalt Bumpy Roads, Return distance around 320km

Drive to YangyKala canyon, the ancient floor of the Tethys Sea, the rich colours and spectacular views. Arrive and start sightseeing. Return to Turkmenbashy. Overnight at hotel in Turkmenbashy.
