June 17, arrive in Ashgabat

09:00 A.M. start visiting all main monuments in Ashgabat. Sightseeing in Old Nisa Fortress (once the Third Capital of Parthian Empire), visit the Turkmenbashy mosque in Kipchak, finally come to the bookshop. Pause at the hotel. Start night tour and see the town in lights, to have the panoramic photos. Return to hotel. Overnight

June 18, Ashgabat – Nohur – Serdar, 225km, Highway, Asphalt Roads, Mountain Tracks

08:30 A.M. Start drive to KovAta cave, 96km. Arrive, visit the cave and swim in the underground lake. Continue drive to Kopetdag mountains. Arrive at Nohur village. Sightseeing in the village. Return on the road and drive to the small town – Serdar. Check in the local hotel. Overnight

June 19, Serdar - Turkmenbashy, 335km, Highway

Drive to the Caspian Sea. Stop for photos along the route. Arrive in Turkmenbashy town. Check in hotel. Free visit to the Awaza Caspian Sea resort. Overnight at hotel

June 20, Turkmenbashy – YangyKala - Turkmenbashy, Bumpy Asphalt Roads, Mud Tracks /

Turkmenbashy – Ashgabat, Flight 1hr

Drive to YangyKala canyon. The area to the southeast from GaraBogaz bay of the Caspian Sea and the ancient floor of the Tethys Sea. The spectacular view and the unusual multicolour rocks arise in the desert. Sightseeing the place. Return drive to Turkmenbashy airport. Flight to Ashgabat. Check in the hotel. Free program. Overnight

June 21, Ashgabat- Darvaza gas craters, 257km, Highway, Asphalt Road, Sand Tracks

A.M. Sightseeing in Ashgabat. Visit the Independence Park and its monuments, drive by the Olympic Sport Complex, visit the Neutrality Tower, the Alem Ferris Wheel, the Berkarar Shooping Centre.

P.M. Drive into the Karakum desert. Stop for photos along the route. Arrive at Darvaza. Start sightseeing the gas craters. Leave the road and arrive at fiery gas crater. See the gas crater at sunset, and continue at night. Camp in the area

June 22, Darvaza – Ashgabat, 257km

A.M. Return to Ashgabat

P.M. Stop at Gulistan (Russian ) bazaar. Have the cable car ride and see the town from the mountains. Drive to TV Tower and have another great view on the town. Visit the Serdar Yoly Health Path. Check in hotel. Free program. Overnight

June 23, Ashgabat – Turkmenabat, Flight 50min / Turkmenabat – Farap border drive, 40km

Group A: Finish the tour. Transfer to airport as per flight times

Group B: Fly to Turkmenabat / the number of tickets to be selected in the flight form below

Visit the Lebap Regional Museum. Then cross the border at Farap-Olat. Continue into Uzbekistan (full program at Saiga Tours)
